Leen Zevenbergen, CEO Qurius NV: “Running a company or working for a company that has no meaning to the world is useless. I cannot imagine that I would spend with a company that has no sense for sustainability and long term commitment. When asked the question “why are you here”, which is a very essential, even existential question, I want to answer like “I am here because this company contributes something to a better world”. We are going to have to work very hard over the coming years to achieve our sustainability goals. It’s fun and difficult at the same time.”

Michiel Wolfswinkel, CFO Qurius NV: "Acting in sustainably way and being a socially responsible company is not a whim or a paradigma dictated from outside. The only way to genuinely be sustainable and socially responsible is to let your heart speak. It is grounded in every vain and therefore comes from within. And it is also important to take this into your personal perspective. How do you live and act on a daily basis at home? Being sustainable means you care. Care about the future our children are going to inherit from us. We are morally obliged to care. This conscious way of living and working is a great source of inspiration in our daily work. And to keep things simple, sustainability is also about running a profitable company. Simply because a healthy company is the best starting point for the future."
