Again, FNV Bondgenoten chooses Qurius as its IT partner

Zaltbommel, 2 August 2010 ‒ After four years, FNV Bondgenoten, the largest Dutch trade union, has chosen Qurius as its IT partner once again by signing a 2-years’ contract of € 1.4 million for maintenance and management. The union is also going to collaborate with Qurius for project management. Migration to Dynamics AX 2009, Dynamics CRM 5.0 and SharePoint 2010 are all part of the planning.

FNV Bondgenoten promotes the interests of approximately 477,000 members regarding work and income. During the last few years, the role of the union has gradually shifted, while the members’ wishes are also changing. FNV Bondgenoten wishes to move along with this development and further professionalise its contacts with its members. The union aims at creating a service-oriented architecture with more self-service options for its members.

In 2006, FNV Bondgenoten selected Qurius for the realisation of a completely new IT platform, consisting of Microsoft Dynamics AX (back office), Microsoft Dynamics CRM (membership records) and Microsoft SharePoint (document management). After an invitation for tenders, the union recently chose Qurius once again to be its partner for maintenance and management.

We’ve come to clear terms with regard to the way we’re going to cooperate in the years to come and the way we’re going to implement the various projects, including the migrations to the latest technologies. An up-to-date platform will enable us to approach our members in a more direct way and face the future.”
