Qurius Management Update UK and Belgium

Zaltbommel, 15 June 2010 – As from 1 July 2010, Mark Cockings will be the new Managing Director of Qurius UK  while Jan Druppel will start as Managing Director of Qurius Belgium on the same date. Both  have extensive track records in the ICT industry, strong commercial drives and the right experience and ambition to bring Qurius to the next level in each country.

Sales driven and strategic insight
Before joining Qurius, Mark Cockings (1969) built an extensive career at IBS AB, where he held the position of Senior Vice President Strategy & Development since January 2009. He started working for  IBS in 1996,held various positions, including  the posts of Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, Area President Central Europe and Global Business Development Director andhas been a member  of the overall Group Management since 2004.

Qurius UK has two fully-staffed offices in Swindon and Manchester (Bury) and serves over 100 customers. Its core markets are Recycling and Waste Management, Metals Stockholding and Manufacturing, Holiday Homes and Caravans and Professional Services Organisations.

An entrepreneur at the wheel
Jan Druppel (1967) has been General Manager of the Software Division of Systemat Group in Belgium and Luxemburg since 2002, where his manageriel skills and keen market insight have resulted into doubling the turnover of the division in the market. Before he started working for Systemat Group, he had set up his own software company Q&A NV, which he managed from 1996until 2002.

Qurius Belgium has expertise semi process industry (Food, Pharma and Chemicals), Waste Management & Recycling, Installation & Maintenance companies and Member organizations and has offices in Ghent (Sint-Martens-Latem) and Antwerp (Kontich). Managed by Mr Druppel, Qurius Belgium will focus on market leadership in its field, by means of organic growth and possible acquisitions.
