Qurius appoints Geerd Schlangen as Chief Brand Officer

Zaltbommel, 26 May 2010 – By appointing Geerd Schlangen as Chief Brand Officer, Qurius boosts its marketing and communications department with experience, vision and creativity. In addition, following the new Qurius strategy with sustainability as one of the key pillars, Qurius hired Jeroen Verkuyl as manager Corporate Social Responsibility, while Robert van der Kleij is currently in charge of technical innovation and sustainable IT as Corporate Strategist.

Loading the brand
Geerd Schlangen is a former Managing Director of Bex communicatie, Bikker Euro RSCG and Origin and has an extensive track record in the public relations, marketing and communications industry. At Qurius Geerd will be responsible for Corporate Marketing & Communications as well as for the Marketing & Communication Department of Qurius the Netherlands.

With a board room consultancy background at Escador and as an experienced change and programme manager, Jeroen Verkuyl is the right man for the challenging job of Manager Corporate Social Responsibility. “Jeroen’s main objective is to inspire, lead and connect our people in our international organization and activate them as much as possible to realize our goal: becoming a 100% sustainable company in 2014,” says Leen Zevenbergen.

In addition, Robert van der Kleij, Qurius the Netherland’s former Technical Director, was appointed as Corporate Strategist and will be responsible for the innovation and integration of sustainable IT solutions and platforms in our organization and product portfolio.
